GALLERY COLLECTIONS: CROP CIRCLES
This collection is born from my love to my profession and the concern to keep in touch with what motivates and stimulates me.
In this work, I was inspired by the phenomenon of crop circles, large drawings made on wheat fields in England from which no one is attributed its authorship. I love the contrast between the accuracy of geometric figures and the organic texture of wheat, as well as its contribution of tones, shapes, volumes and textures which resemble real hair. These ideas have led me to combine the art of tattooing with detailed and geometric haircuts which evoke, in turn, three-dimensional shapes in pure state.
I have always appreciated teamwork, but it has been through this collection that I have discovered its true value. All the artists who participated in the project gave the best of themselves and generously shared their knowledge, leaving individuality at the service of the group. It has been such a rich and creative experience that I would like to continue doing artistic works based on this concept.
I am very pleased with the results, as well as the delicate and elegant integration of unconventional visions of one´s image. I feel that past and future coexist, giving strength to a present that is not only possible, but also attractive, innovative and subtly powerful.
